About Us
Mystic Moon was established by Lisa - a lifelong horsewoman who truly loves horses more than anything. Mystic Moon currently has 3 instructors on the premises, each with a different specialty in introductions to hunter/jumpers, western, dressage, eventing, and liberty. Let us know what riding interests you most and we will match you to an instructor!
What should I expect in a lesson?
Lessons are 1 hr of instruction for ages 5+. Riders are expected to (under instructor supervision) catch, groom, tack, untack, perform proper aftercare, and turn out their horse each lesson.
We strongly believe that lessons are much more than showing up and riding - good horsemanship (or willingness to learn) is necessary to succeed!

What should I bring to a lesson?
- Correctly fitted ASTM/SEI certified helmet
- Closed-toe shoes with up to 1" heel
- Comfortable, correctly fitting/non-baggy clothes that can get dirty - it is a farm!
We are local to two fantastic tack shops that can help you with a helmet fitting, and for any other riding clothes needs.
